According to PBS, in a letter written to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Donald Trump criticized Europe and Denmark, stating that he must put U.S. interests first. He emphasized that after not receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, he no longer feels compelled to think only about peace.
In the letter, Trump noted that he had ended eight or more wars, yet assessed the failure to award him the prize as unjust. He also specifically addressed Greenland, claiming that Denmark cannot protect the island from Russia or China.
According to the U.S. President's words, global security cannot be ensured until Washington establishes full control over Greenland.
