Yesterday, on February 5, the Head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, held a meeting with Maulen Ashimbayev, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan. She wrote about this on her social media page here.

The conversation with Maulen Ashimbayev was sincere and friendly. We noted with satisfaction that relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, based on high-level mutual trust and close dialogue, are developing quite dynamically. It is gratifying that 2025 was an important and fruitful stage for bilateral cooperation, Mirziyoyeva notes.

She also reports that issues of expanding inter-parliamentary dialogue, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian ties were discussed.
