According to Uzhydromet, starting from the second half of the week, the air temperature in Uzbekistan will gradually decrease. Short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur in some regions.
On June 1, dry weather will persist in most of the republic during the daytime. Only in some places of Tashkent region and the Fergana Valley regions, short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur. The air temperature will be 34-36 degrees, and in the south up to 38-40 degrees.
On June 2-4, weather typical for the beginning of the summer season is forecast across the republic. At night and in the first half of the day, mostly partly cloudy weather is expected. In the second half of the day, convective clouds will develop, and short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur in some regions.
On these days, the air temperature will gradually decrease to 28-33 degrees, and in the southern regions to 34-37 degrees.
On June 5, short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur only in some places of the Fergana Valley. The air temperature will remain almost unchanged.
The wind speed will be 7-12 m/s, with gusts up to 15-20 m/s in some places, and dust storms may occur in certain areas.
In the foothills and mountainous areas, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in some places on June 1-5. Mudflows and floods may also occur.
In Tashkent city, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible on June 1. The air temperature will be around 34-36 degrees. On June 2-4, short-term rain may occur in the second half of the day, and the temperature will gradually decrease to 29-31 degrees. On June 5, no precipitation is expected, and the daytime air temperature will be 31-33 degrees.
