Kazinform reports that local residents found a crashed unmanned aerial vehicle near the village of Karaultobe in the West Kazakhstan region.
According to police information, investigative measures are currently being carried out in the village area regarding the discovery of objects resembling the wreckage of a drone. The object was found outside the populated point, and the details of the incident are being studied.
Similar situations have been observed in this area before: in February–March 2025, unidentified unmanned aerial vehicles were detected in several districts of West Kazakhstan. In this regard, the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan has strengthened airspace control.
As previously reported, according to the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, over 90 percent of such drones have been traced to the area of the 926th Main Flight Test Center range, and this area is used by Russia for tests.
