The Ministry of Preschool and School Education has reported that 220 general education schools in districts and cities have been selected to allow the broad public to watch the Uzbekistan national team's participation in the World Cup together.
It is noted that in these educational institutions, which have all the necessary facilities for watching football matches, students, parents, and other citizens will have the opportunity to watch World Cup games live on large screens.
The World Cup, hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico, will start on June 11 and conclude on July 19. For the first time in the tournament's history, 48 national teams will participate.
The Uzbekistan national team will face Colombia in the group stage on June 18 (07:00 Tashkent time), Portugal on June 23 (22:00), and the Democratic Republic of the Congo on June 28 (04:30).
