Today, June 4, a strong magnetic storm may be observed on Earth. This was reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It is noted that a plasma flow formed as a result of powerful X-class flares on the Sun is expected to reach the Earth's ionosphere. According to experts' forecasts, the level of geomagnetic activity may rise to 6–7 points.

Scientists emphasize that the interaction of the plasma flow with the Earth's magnetic field may cause health-related discomfort in some individuals. In particular, deterioration of sleep quality, rapid fatigue, and changes in heart rhythm may occur.

In this regard, experts recommend that the population pay attention to their health, avoid excessive physical exertion and strong mental stress as much as possible.

For reference, magnetic storms are geomagnetic phenomena resulting from high solar activity, and they can affect communication systems, navigation devices, as well as the general condition of some individuals.
