At least 5 people were killed and 21 others were injured as a result of a drone attack on a market in Ukraine carried out by Russia. Among the injured is a 14-year-old girl, reported the Prosecutor General's Office.
The attack occurred at 09:50 local time in the city of Nikopol. It is located on the opposite bank of the Dnipro River, near the territory occupied by Russia.

At the same time, Ukraine has also carried out retaliatory strikes. In a drone and missile attack on the city of Taganrog, at least one person was killed and four others were seriously injured, it was reported.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched nearly 300 drones over the country's territory during the night. Casualties have also been reported in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
In turn, Moscow reported that 85 Ukrainian drones had been shot down.
