Another responsible task has been entrusted to Uzbek referees during the FIFA World Cup matches hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

According to the Uzbekistan Football Association, a referee team led by FIFA referee Ilgiz Tantashev will officiate the match between the national teams of Scotland and Morocco, who are in Group "C" of the tournament.

The match will kick off on June 20 at 03:00 Tashkent time.

Ilgiz Tantashev will be assisted on the sidelines by international category referees Andrey Sapenko and Timur Gaynullin.

It is worth noting that Uzbek referees have been actively participating in the international arena in recent years. In particular, Ilgiz Tantashev is considered one of the experienced referees who regularly works in prestigious competitions under the auspices of FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation.

The entrusting of the next match to a team of Uzbek referees at the largest football competition, such as the World Cup, is regarded as an important recognition for the country's refereeing school.
