Within the framework of the fight against illegal migration, rapid measures were carried out in the Navoi and Kashkadarya regions in collaboration with employees of the State Security Service and the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office.
Reportedly, the head of a travel company operating in the city of Navoi gained the trust of a citizen born in 2006, residing in the Khatyrchi district, and promised to prepare all documents to send him to work in Bulgaria. He was caught with material evidence while taking 3,000 US dollars for this service.
A similar case was also exposed in the Kitab district. A person born in 1997, residing in the Tashkent region, promised to send two citizens to work in Israel and prepare a work visa "through acquaintances," demanding 20,000 US dollars. During the rapid operation, he came to Kashkadarya and was apprehended while receiving 5,000 dollars of the agreed money.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated regarding both cases, and investigative actions are being carried out.
Officials called on citizens to be cautious regarding suspicious offers on social networks about sending people to work abroad. It was also recommended to use only the services of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers or private employment agencies with the appropriate license.
Citizens were asked to contact the State Security Service's short number 1520 in case of encountering such violations of the law. The individual's confidentiality is guaranteed.
