A video appeal has been circulated on social media regarding the unlawful actions of a patrol service officer towards underage girls. In it, a 14-year-old girl, as the victim, describes the details of the incident.
According to the girl, the incident occurred on the evening of April 27, while she was sitting in the yard with her friend. A Spark car pulled up in front of them, and the driver forced the girls to get into the vehicle. The girl stated that she initially refused, but the man introduced himself as a police officer and gained their trust. It is then alleged that he took the girls to a remote mountainous area and molested them.
It is reported that the brother of one of the girls determined their location via geolocation and arrived at the scene. It is also said that threatening phone calls were subsequently made by the suspect.
In connection with this situation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Personal Security Unit has launched an investigation in cooperation with the prosecutor's office. According to reports, the officer mentioned in the appeal has been suspended from duty.
According to the Ministry, if the facts are confirmed, the officer's actions will be given a strict legal assessment, and measures up to criminal prosecution will be taken. It was also emphasized that such incidents are absolutely unacceptable in the internal affairs system.
