It turned out that the incident occurred on November 3, 2025, in the Uzbekistan district. A man under the influence of alcohol came to his father-in-law's house and met with his wife. The woman had previously filed a lawsuit regarding the collection of alimony, and according to the court decision, the man was imprisoned for 15 days.
After serving his sentence, the conflict between the spouses escalated further. According to investigation data, the man, aiming to avoid paying alimony, inflicted several bodily injuries on his wife with a kitchen knife he had brought with him in advance. After that, he also struck his 3-year-old daughter, born in 2023, with the knife.
As a result, the girl died at the scene. The woman, who sustained severe injuries, died while being taken to the hospital. After the crime, the man fled the scene.
The Uzbekistan District Criminal Court found him guilty under paragraphs "a", "v", "zh", "i" of Part 2 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code and sentenced him to 19 years of imprisonment.
