Apple has again become the world's most valuable publicly traded company, surpassing Nvidia in market capitalization. Reuters reported this.
According to reports, Apple's market value reached $4.9 trillion. Nvidia, whose shares have slightly cheapened, had a capitalization of $4.8 trillion.
Since the beginning of the year, Apple's shares have increased by more than 20 percent. During this period, Nvidia's shares also rose, but their growth rate was less than 10 percent.
Reuters noted that this change signifies a significant shift in investor sentiment. Investors are now showing great interest not only in short-term growth in the artificial intelligence sector, but also in technology companies with stable income and a strong business model.
According to Tony Meadows, head of the investment division at BRI Wealth Management, although Apple is investing less in the AI race compared to competitors, its strong ecosystem, paid services, and regular device updates ensure the company's financial stability. Therefore, investors value Apple shares as a long-term and reliable investment.
Apple made history in 2018 as the first publicly traded company to exceed $1 trillion in market value. In 2024, Nvidia took the lead in this indicator, but now Apple has returned to first place in the global ranking.
