Uzbekistan will experience extreme heat on July 20. This was reported by Uzhydromet.
According to the report, no precipitation is expected in most of the republic on Monday. In some areas, wind may strengthen and dust storms may occur.
In Tashkent, the weather will be partly cloudy. The wind will blow from the east at a speed of 3–8 meters per second, possibly increasing to 12–15 meters in some places and causing dust storms. The temperature will be 27–29 degrees at night and 41–43 degrees during the day.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the temperature will be around 22–27 degrees at night and 34–39 degrees during the day. In Bukhara and Navoi regions, the air will warm up to 40–45 degrees during the day.
In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, daytime temperatures are expected to be 40–45 degrees, while in Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, they will be 43–48 degrees.
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the air will warm up to 40–45 degrees during the day. In foothill and mountainous areas, the temperature will be 30–35 degrees, rising to 37 degrees in some places.
According to weather forecasters, very hot air masses from the south entered the territory of Uzbekistan on July 13. This process will continue until July 20.
Starting from July 21, the hot air will begin to retreat across all parts of the republic.
