Uzbek mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Ramazan Temirov achieved another bright victory at the UFC Fight Night 282 tournament held in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The Uzbek athlete, competing in the bantamweight division, stepped into the octagon in a fight before the main card of the tournament against former UFC title contender, Australian Steve Erceg.
Actively moving from the very first minutes of the fight, Temirov knocked out his opponent with a powerful strike 40 seconds before the end of the first round. The referee stopped the fight at 4:20, recording the Uzbek fighter's early victory.
With this result, Ramazan Temirov achieved his 20th victory in his professional career. He also has 3 losses on his record. This was Temirov's 11th knockout in his career and another early victory recorded in the first round.
For the 29-year-old fighter, this is his third consecutive win in the UFC. Previously, he had defeated CJ Vergara early and also outpointed Charles Johnson by unanimous decision.
Steve Erceg, meanwhile, suffered his fifth loss in his professional career. His record now stands at 14 wins and 5 losses. The Australian fighter competed for the UFC title against Alexandre Pantoja in May 2024.
