In Kashkadarya region, three cases of illegal use of electricity were identified, and it was reported that nearly 3 billion soums of damage was caused to state interests.
According to the Inspection for Control over the Use of Electricity, Oil Products and Gas, an inspection conducted by the headquarters of the Prosecutor General's Office in Kamashi district revealed that water pumps belonging to the farm "A.J." were connected to the electricity grid bypassing the meter. As a result, electricity worth 2 billion 272 million soums was illegally used.
Also, a similar violation was found in water pumps belonging to a citizen in Kasbi district, and it was calculated that damage of 572 million soums was caused to the state.
In addition, a case of unauthorized connection to the electricity grid was exposed at an enterprise in Shahrisabz district. In this regard, the damage of 113 million soums caused to the electricity supply enterprise was recalculated.
Currently, measures are being taken in accordance with the established procedure regarding the identified cases.
