In Namangan region, the circulation of more than 13,000 boxes of medicines without documents confirming their quality has been restricted.
The Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office reported this.
During the operational measure, it was found that citizen A.T. and others had been keeping 13,184 boxes of medicines of 56 types in a house in the "Boburshoh" neighborhood with the intention of selling them.
Their total value amounted to 577.4 million soums. The medicines were taken as material evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 186-3 of the Criminal Code regarding the situation. Investigation actions are currently being carried out.
