In the Andijan region, a person who demanded $10,000 from a citizen, promising to obtain the necessary licenses and permits for establishing a private preschool educational institution, was detained. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
According to the report, a person born in 1984 in Andijan district told a citizen born in 1974 living in Balikchi district that he would help establish a private preschool educational institution.
He promised to obtain the license and other permits necessary for the activity through his acquaintances working in high positions. For this service, $10,000 was demanded from the citizen.
During an operational measure conducted by the internal affairs bodies, the suspect was caught with material evidence while receiving $5,000 of the agreed money in the Mustaqillik neighborhood of Andijan city.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident. The suspect has been detained in accordance with procedural order. Currently, preliminary investigation actions are being carried out regarding the situation.
