Cases of illegal use of electricity were identified in the Bogot and Khazorasp districts of the Khorezm region. This was reported by the Inspection for Control over the Use of Electricity, Oil Products, and Gas.
According to the report, at an enterprise owned by an individual entrepreneur in Bogot district, the connection scheme of the electric meter was arbitrarily changed. As a result, electricity worth 715.6 million soums was illegally used.
Also, a violation was detected in the water pumps belonging to the "O.G." farm in the district, causing damage worth 213.5 million soums.
The violation detected in the water pumps belonging to the "R.S." farm in Khazorasp district caused damage worth 171 million soums.
According to preliminary calculations, as a result of the detected cases, electricity supply enterprises suffered total damage of approximately 1.1 billion soums.
