According to what Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote on her page, the high-ranking guests led by the President of Azerbaijan and their family members were received with great respect in Uzbekistan.
“Our countries are connected by unique bonds of brotherhood. This warmth is always felt not only in official relations, but also in the boundless affection and kindness of our peoples for each other”, — she wrote.
According to her, the commonality in the history, culture and traditions of the two countries is also reflected today in joint projects in many areas, from infrastructure to investments.
Saida Mirziyoyeva noted that this visit has opened another important page in the history of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
On August 23, in Tashkent, the treaty “On Eternal Friendship” was signed by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
“In my opinion, the very name of this document clearly expresses the deep essence of the bonds that connect Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan today”, — said Saida Mirziyoyeva.
The head of the Presidential Administration expressed her joy at seeing Azerbaijani friends again in Uzbekistan and addressed them, saying welcome to a country that “always welcomes with open arms”.
