“Undoubtedly, all the above changes are being realized through the labor of our multinational people and devoted compatriots like you,” said the head of state.
The President noted that seeing due recognition of one's work, regardless of the field or position one works in, is a great happiness for every person.
On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's state independence, 558 devoted individuals who live with a sense of involvement in reforms and work sincerely were awarded high state honors.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that he is well aware of the arduous labor path of every awardee, their achievements, and the worthy contribution they are making to the country's development.
Among those awarded was also a respected elder from Khorezm, Rustam Sultanov, who devoted his entire life to constructive work.
Despite his venerable age, he has been leading the region's veterans and serving as a true example to young people in beautifying neighborhoods and villages.
