Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and head of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee.

The meeting was held in a sincere and friendly spirit. Saida Mirziyoyeva announced this on her social media page.

The parties discussed raising the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China to a new level, as well as the prospects for cooperation between the two countries.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to the further development of relations in priority areas such as trade, economy, investments, and cultural ties.

In addition, views were exchanged on forming common approaches to issues of global and regional significance.

“The strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China is rising to a new level, and broad opportunities are opening up before us,” wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.

She expressed gratitude to Wang Yi for the meaningful and sincere conversation.

For reference, Wang Yi has been holding the positions of member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, head of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.
