Today, on 30 August, a solemn ceremony to welcome the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, who is on a state visit to Uzbekistan, was held at the Kuksaroy residence. This was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sincerely received the high-ranking guest and invited him to the dais.
During the ceremony, the national flags of the two countries were raised and the guard of honor stood in formation. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and India resounded.
After that, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Narendra Modi walked past the guard of honor line and greeted members of the official delegations. Following a joint photo session, high-level negotiations began.
