At the Kuksaroy residence, a ceremony was held to present the Order of "Friendship of the Highest Degree" of Uzbekistan to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The award was given on the basis of a decree by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that this decision is an expression of deep respect for Narendra Modi's invaluable contribution to strengthening the eternal bonds of friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and India.

The President noted India's rapid development in recent years and its growing influence on the international stage.

"I am confident that with our common aspirations and efforts, our multifaceted and long-term relations will continue to develop rapidly in the future," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Let us recall that during the visit, an agreement was reached to bring the volume of trade exchange between Uzbekistan and India to $5 billion by 2030.
