Swindlers promising employment in foreign countries have been arrested, as reported by the Department under the Prosecutor General's office.

In a rapid response operation conducted by the Department's Okdarya district branch in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, citizen V.I. gained the trust of citizens E.H. and B.B., fraudulently obtaining $4,500 on the promise of employment in the United Kingdom and was caught red-handed returning 1.2 million UZS and $700 during the operation.

Furthermore, during the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that citizen V.I. had deceived 47 individuals in a similar manner, fraudulently acquiring a total of $37,160 by promising to arrange employment in foreign countries.

In a rapid response operation by the Department's Navoiy regional branch, in collaboration with the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, citizen R.D. was caught with physical evidence while receiving $4,000 from citizen A.F., having gained his trust by promising to arrange his relocation and employment in Korea, along with preparing the necessary visa documents.

Criminal cases have been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code regarding these incidents, and investigative actions are being conducted.
