A university student in Fergana was found to have stolen a Jentra car. Aziz Obidov reported this.

It turned out that the university student had been working at a car wash in Fergana city besides his studies. He stole a Jentra that came to be washed, and gave the car owner's technical passport as collateral to a canteen in Kokand.

Moreover, the young man sold the "anti-radar" from the car. He abandoned the stolen car near a recreation park in Margilan. The car was found during the search operation.

According to the information, the young man continued his criminal activities, stealing and then selling a phone worth 1 million 800 thousand Uzbek soms belonging to an acquaintance.

The case was reviewed by the Fergana Criminal Court, and the young man was sentenced to 5 years under Article 168 of the Criminal Code (Fraud), Article 169 (Theft), and Article 227 (Possession, destruction, damage, concealment of documents, stamps, seals, blanks, state registration plates of motor vehicles and their trailers (semi-trailers)) as well as Article 267 (Hijacking of a vehicle).
