The Competition Committee's Kashkadarya regional administration carried out studies on more than 10,000 normative-legal and other types of documents regarding the requirements of the "On Competition" Law within the district administrations and state administration bodies of the region over the first 6 months of 2024. The press service of the Committee reported this.
During these studies, Nishan, Shahrisabz, Ghuzor, and Mubarak district administrations in 19 cases resulted in the adoption of normative-legal and other types of documents leading to restrictions of competition in the goods or financial markets, as well as to the infringement of the rights and lawful interests of consumers in violation of certain conditions for economic entities described in Articles 12, 22 of the "On Competition" Law, creating discriminatory or preferential conditions for their activities.
As a result of the above studies, decisions by 4 district governors were aligned with the requirements of the "On Competition" Law, and recommendations were submitted to the district administrations to rectify violations and prevent such cases in the future.
