Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has announced his resignation in September. This was stated in the statement released by the minister on August 14th, reports zamon.uz.
According to reports, Japan has recently experienced political scandals related to Kishida's activities. The lack of determination in the country's leadership to combat the high inflation and economic problems of the last three years has led to numerous demonstrations organized by the population.
The main issue that led the Prime Minister to leave his post was the increase in prices. In the last six months, the cost of living, including food and utility payments, has unusually spiked. The government's swift economic decisions had virtually no impact on the price policy.
“Politics does not work without public trust. There's no point in continuing if the trust in me is gone. From now on, I will devote my efforts to support the newly elected LDP (Liberal Democratic Party) leader,” said Fumio Kishida, commenting on his resignation.
