In Namangan, a citizen attacked police officers with a knife and a piece of wood.

The citizen, causing a disturbance and breaching the peace of the public, also hit the police officers with a knife and a stick.

A citizen in the Uchkurgan district of the Namangan region injured law enforcement officers. The district's Internal Affairs Department press service  reported this.

It is noted that at 20:50, residents of the "Fergana" neighborhood reported that an individual named K.Q. was disturbing the peace and causing a fight.

The two preventive inspectors assigned to the night shift reached the scene and attempted to stop the disorderly conduct being perpetrated by K.Q.

However, the citizen did not comply with the lawful demands of the officers and actively resisted. He attacked them with a kitchen knife and a piece of wood, inflicting injuries.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 219, Part 2 of the Criminal Code (Resistance against a representative of authority or a person performing public duties). The accused has been detained, and preliminary investigation activities are underway.
