These days, the 68th session of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Conference is taking place in Vienna, the capital of Austria. The Ministry of Health Press Service reported this.
Within the framework of the event, a meeting took place between Asilbek Khudayarov, the Acting Minister of Health of Uzbekistan, and Rafael Grossi, the Director-General of the IAEA.
During the meeting, an agreement was signed on training specialists and enhancing their qualifications for the newly established Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology in the city of Tashkent.
— This project aims to introduce modern methods of diagnosing and treating oncological diseases, ultimately improving the quality and efficiency of oncology services in Uzbekistan. We are ready to further expand our bilateral cooperation, — said R.Grossi.
