The regulated prices for heating services in the city of Tashkent will be reviewed. This was stated in the decision of the capital's council of people's deputies on September 12th mentioned.
Accordingly, the following prices proposed based on the documents submitted by Veolia Energy for central heating and hot water supply services were approved:
- for the population — 121,617 UZS per Gcal;
- for other wholesale organizations — 244,497 UZS per Gcal (excluding VAT).
The price of heating and hot water supply services for the population was last increased by 15 percent the day after the heating season ended, on April 2nd, 2024.
- In February 2024, Veolia Energy proposed to increase the tariff for heating and hot water supply for the population of Tashkent city by 15 percent.
- This increase was attributed to the rise in prices for electricity, gas, drinking water, and sewerage services, as well as the cost of thermal energy purchased by heating production companies.
