The UN General Assembly adopted a draft resolution demanding Israel to comply with the International Court's decision and to leave the occupied Palestinian territories within a year. This was reported by "TASS" here.

The resolution was supported by 124 countries, including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belgium, Brazil, Qatar, China, and France. Additionally, 14 countries (Israel, the USA, Hungary, and others) opposed, while another 43 countries remained neutral in the vote.

It is noted that the adoption of the resolution required a two-thirds majority of the votes. This resolution is the first document to be voted on following the expansion of Palestine's rights at the UN General Assembly.

The relevant draft decision consists of 18 clauses and demands Israel to immediately vacate all the lands occupied in Palestinian territory. This document must be implemented within 12 months following its adoption.
