The International Cultural Heritage Week, which started its activities on October 18th, continues to proceed actively. Today alone, 3 significant events will take place.

In the building of the Museum of the History of the Timurids, the "Journey to the Timurid Era" forum, at the Tashkent Museum the international conference on "The Foundation of the Eastern Renaissances during the Era of the First Civilizations", and at the National Cinema Art Palace, the forum "Cinema Art as the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan" are taking place.

The "Journey to the Timurid Era" forum began with the exhibition of the "Numismatic Collection of the Museum of the History of the Timurids". The exhibition, organized based on the museum's numismatic collection, displayed coins from several dynasties that played a significant role in the history of the Uzbek state – the Samanids, Khwarezmshahs, Amir Timur and the Timurids, Shaybanids, Ashtarkhanids, the Emirate of Bukhara, the Khanate of Kokand, and including the "New Sogdian" treasure (14th–16th centuries), which is currently being studied by museum scholars.

Along with renowned scholars from the Republic's scientific research institutions and higher education institutions, scholars from countries such as Japan, France, Tajikistan, Pakistan, and India are also participating in the forum with their presentations. Moreover, the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan is participating with topics related to the projects for shaping the Second Renaissance exposition.

Promoting the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan extensively, enhancing its tourism potential, and perfecting the expositions related to the Timurid Renaissance at the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan are among the prioritized tasks focused upon by the participants of the Forum.
