In the list of opponents, the USA and Germany, being the largest supporters of Ukraine, are leading.

 Seven NATO member states are opposing Ukraine's entry into the alliance. This was reported by foreign media outlets. 

It appears that the opposition to this idea is led by the biggest supporters of Ukraine, the USA and Germany. Washington and Berlin fear direct warfare with Moscow. 

Moreover, Slovakia and Hungary are also against Ukraine joining NATO.

"Additionally, Spain, Belgium, and Slovenia are not supporting Kyiv’s membership in the alliance. These countries are expressing their opposition behind the USA and Germany," says one of the NATO officials.",
