Oybek Shakhavdinov, who has been working as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Hungary, has concurrently become the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Croatia. This was reported by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Hungary.
Yesterday, on October 23rd, the Ambassador handed over the copies of his credentials to Mirta Jelenčić Jelena, the Head of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia in Zagreb.
For your information: he is considered the first Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Croatia.
Mirta Jelenčić Jelena wished Oybek Shakhavdinov success in his role and expressed confidence that his appointment as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan will mark a new stage in the development of bilateral relations.
