A wanted individual was found in the basement of his father-in-law's house in the Jizzakh region. The regional Department of Internal Affairs Press Service  reported this.

It is reported that a 36-year-old citizen living in the “Ravalli” neighborhood of Jizzakh city took a loan of 2 billion 150 million UZS from a commercial bank in 2022. However, he misused this amount, which was allocated for the purchase of 1125 head of livestock.

Subsequently, on March 4 of this year, the regional prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case against him under Article 167 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement and misappropriation).

The quick actions carried out by the Jizzakh Department of Internal Affairs resulted in the apprehension of the wanted person, who was hiding in the basement of his father-in-law’s house in the Okkurgan neighborhood, and he was placed in a temporary detention prison.
