In Andijan district, a lawyer of ETK was detained attempting to reduce the calculated damage from electric energy use. The Department under the General Prosecutor's Office reported this.
The rapid action event aimed at protecting the rights and interests of business entities, conducted jointly by the Andijan district branch of the Department and the staff of the Internal Affairs, resulted in the detention of an ETK "Kuygan-yor" division lawyer, A.G., who had gained the trust of entrepreneur S.Z. He promised to reduce the calculated damage of 64 million UZS for the illegal use of electricity at the “Oq-yor” MFY area restaurant to 9 million UZS, initially obtaining 1 million UZS and was caught with material evidence when receiving the remaining 8 million UZS.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 of the Criminal Code (fraud) regarding this incident, and investigative actions are being conducted.
