During a rapid-search operation against the senior investigator of the Olmazor district prosecutor's office in Tashkent city, S., he was caught red-handed receiving $20,000 out of the agreed $30,000 US dollars. This information was reported by the public activist Rasuo Kusherbaev.
It has been revealed that a criminal case has been initiated against the investigator according to part 3 of article 210 "a" of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure in the form of detention has been applied.
It is noted that this is the fourth publicized case of corruption involving prosecutorial officials in Tashkent city over the last six months.
