The former head of the SSC, Anvar Alimov, has been appointed as the acting director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology. This was reported by the ministry's press service here.
Anvar Alimov graduated in 1978 from what is now the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. Over the years, he has served in responsible positions such as the dean at the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Medical Studies, consultant and lead consultant in the Presidential Administration, rector of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, first deputy minister of health, minister of health (2012—2016), and director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology.
Botirbek Isabekov has been appointed as the acting head of the Tashkent city health departmenthere.
Botirbek Isabekov completed his bachelor's degree at the Second Tashkent State Medical Institute in 2001, and his residency at the First Tashkent State Medical Institute in 2003.
During his career, he has worked in responsible positions such as the deputy chief physician of the 30th family polyclinic and the medical association in the Uchtepa district, as well as the deputy head and head of the Tashkent city health department.
Before the appointment, he was serving as the deputy head of the Tashkent city health department.
