The Tashkent metro will work 2 hours longer on New Year's Eve.

For the first time, the Tashkent metro will operate on New Year's Eve, providing service to passengers from 5:00 AM on December 31st until 2:00 AM on January 1st, in celebration of the New Year holiday.

On December 31, the working hours of Tashkent metro stations will be extended by 2 hours than usual. This was announced by the metro press service here.

It is noted that for the first time the metro will serve passengers from 5:00 AM on December 31 to 2:00 AM on January 1. 

Additional works are currently being carried out regarding the metro train schedule during extra holidays. Further information will be provided later on.

Previously, it was reported that Tashkent Metro had served 1 million passengers in a day for the first time. A transport card, allowing the millionth passenger to use the capital's public transport for free for one year, was gifted.
