The director of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Malaysia, Firdavs Abdulkhaliqov, was presented with facsimile copies of historical manuscripts related to our country's cultural heritage. These include: "At-Tafhim" by Abu Rayhan al-Biruni and "Shahnameh" by Abulqasim Ferdowsi, copied during the Timurid era. The event was organized at the Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization, with the participation of Karomidin Gadoev, the ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia.

The head of the Center, Firdavs Abdulkhaliqov, commented on the process of accepting the copies of ancient manuscripts:

"Today, due to the initiatives of our President, special attention is being paid to the study of our historical heritage and the wide promotion of humanitarian ideas. Eight years ago, based on the decrees of the head of our state, the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan was established. Our center aims to reflect the contributions of great scholars from the land of Uzbekistan to world civilization and to study the cultural and educational monuments related to Uzbekistan that are preserved both at home and abroad. Moreover, active work is being conducted on researching the contributions of these great scholars to world civilization and studying cultural monuments. The manuscript copies received today will further enrich the exposition of our center".
These manuscripts are expected to be displayed in the historical exposition of the Center for Islamic Civilization.

For your information, last December, historical manuscripts related to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan were found at the library of the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization under the Islamic Civilization Center in Malaysia.

The works and scientific discoveries of Abu Rayhan al-Biruni (973–1048) have made a significant contribution to the development of world science. His work "At-Tafhim", copied in 1197, is recognized as an important source in the world of science. The "Shahnameh" of Abulqasim Ferdowsi was copied in the 15th century based on the calligraphy traditions of the Timurid era. The work identifies elements characteristic of the Kamaliddin Behzad miniature school.
