The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the city of Abu Dhabi on January 14, where he held a meeting with the United Arab Emirates Minister of Artificial Intelligence Omar bin Sultan Al Olama within the framework of business events of the visit.
The meeting was attended by the CEO of “Presight” Thomas Pramotedam, CEO of “AIQ” Magzhan Kenesbay, CEO of “Khazna” Hasan Al Naqbi, and the President of the Muhammad bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, Eric Xing.
“Presight”, “AIQ”, and “Khazna” companies are among the leading entities in the field of big data analytics and artificial intelligence. Muhammad bin Zayed University is considered the first higher education institution in the world specialized in artificial intelligence research.
The meeting discussed ways to expand strategic partnerships with Emirates companies to develop advanced technologies and successfully implement them in various fields.
Agreements were reached on expanding cooperation in developing generative artificial intelligence, including the use of large language models in the energy sector, and establishing a major data processing center in Tashkent.
Special attention was given to activating exchanges with the Muhammad bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence. Our President proposed launching a training program for students and adopting a “roadmap” for training highly skilled professionals in this field.
Jointly launching scientific research laboratories, establishing technological clusters, and implementing innovative solutions for contactless payment operations were among the plans discussed.
