A video depicting a 14-year-old girl throwing herself from the 9th floor and committing suicide in Samarkand was leaked to social networks. In response to a request from darakchi.uz, the head of the Prosecutor General's press service, Hayot Shamsutdinov, provided information.
It was revealed that on January 13 of this year, around 17:30, an underage student born in 2010, M.R., who attended 8th grade at school No. 29 and lived in the Sakhoat MFC in Samarkand region, committed suicide by throwing herself from the 8th floor of a multi-storey residential building located in the Bahor MFC of Samarkand city.
Pre-investigation checks are being carried out by the Samarkand city prosecution office regarding this incident.
In order to clarify the circumstances, a forensic medical examination has been ordered, as well as an official investigation by the responsible authorities.
