An official indictment related to a rebellion has been announced against the president of South Korea. Reuters reported this.
"The prosecutors consider Yoon Suk Yeol responsible for a rebellion that emerged after he issued a temporary order about martial law on December 3", the agency writes.
The president, who has been suspended from power, has been detained since January 15, following the South Korean parliament's vote in favor of his impeachment, after which investigators arrested him.
Lawyers of Yoon Suk Yeol are demanding his immediate release.
