An extraordinary session of the District Council of People's Deputies was held in the Qiziriq district. It was attended by the governor of the Surxondaryo region, Ulugbek Qosimov, who discussed the work being done on the socio-economic development of the Qiziriq district, the results achieved, and the shortcomings. This was reported by the press service of the Surxondaryo Regional Administration.
The regional leader announced that Anvar Oripov, who had been working as the district governor, was released from his position upon his own request, and proposed the candidacy of Sherxon Allamurotov Yolliyevich for the role of the Qiziriq district governor. The candidate was unanimously approved by the deputies.
Sherxon Allamurotov was born in 1986 in the Jarko‘rg‘on district. He graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2011. He is a specialist in the field of jurisprudence – a lawyer. He holds the military rank of lieutenant colonel.
Throughout his career, he has held various positions in the internal affairs bodies, including the head of the department at the regional internal affairs department, and the head of the Jarko‘rg‘on district police department. Prior to his appointment, Sh.Allamurotov had been serving as the head of the Qiziriq district internal affairs department since 2023.
The regional leader outlined the tasks that need to be implemented for the socio-economic development of the district to the new governor and wished him success in his activities. He asked activists and officials to unite around the new governor and work effectively for the development of the district.
