As we previously reported, control measures are being conducted in regions by the “Regional Electric Networks” JSC to detect cases of fuel and energy resources embezzlement and take appropriate actions against them. The measures are underway.
As a result of the practical actions taken, during just the month of January, raid activities revealed instances of some consumers illegally using electricity worth a total of 17,411.3 million UZS (10,051,619 thousand kWh).
The collected materials have been recalculated and pertinent documents have been sent to law enforcement agencies.
Measures to ensure compliance with the rules of electricity use are continuing.
