According to the reports on social networks, on January 17 of this year, around 04:00 AM, a 21-year-old resident of Astana was playing the "Free Fire" game, and his family members took his phone away. After that, he lost control of his emotions, got angry, and slit the throats of all his relatives. The tragedy occurred while all the family members were asleep. As a result, an older brother born in 1997 died at the scene, and three other family members were hospitalized in critical condition.
The police department of the city of Astana confirmed this fact.
“The suspect – a 21-year-old citizen has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. A criminal case on the murder has been initiated. According to preliminary information, the conflict was caused by a reprimand from his relatives. The details of the incident are currently being investigated,” the police explained.
