Elon Musk agreed to pay Donald Trump $10 million following the blocking of Trump's Twitter page after the Capitol events.

It is reported that the lawsuit was filed in 2021 against Twitter (X) and the company's CEO at the time, Jack Dorsey.

Due to Musk's closeness to Trump and the businessman having spent $250 million during the election campaign, the matter of stopping the court process is being considered.

As a reminder, in January 2021, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter blocked Donald Trump's accounts. This happened after Trump's supporters, refusing to accept the results of the US presidential election, attacked the Congress building. In November 2022, Twitter's new owner, Elon Musk, unblocked Trump's page on the social network.
