In Canada, a passenger plane overturned during landing.

In Toronto, Canada's largest airport - Lester B. Pearson International Airport, a Delta Airlines passenger plane has flipped over. There were 76 passengers on board. The plane was flying in from Minneapolis, USA. 

Emergency teams arrived at the scene. There were 80 people on the plane, all of whom were evacuated. Eighteen people were injured. 

It is noted that heavy snow has been falling in Toronto for the last week. The airport area has received 53.6 centimeters of snow.
