A flight from Tashkent to Jeddah made an emergency landing in Bahrain. This was reported by the Air Samarkand airline here.
It was reported that due to an emergency medical situation on board, flight UZS4003 Tashkent—Jeddah had to make a forced landing at Bahrain airport. During the flight, a 75-year-old passenger suffered a repeated heart attack.
A doctor on board confirmed that the patient's life was at risk. The Air Samarkand crew, led by Commander Roman Igorovich Talanov, made a quick decision to perform an emergency landing in Bahrain to provide the necessary medical assistance to the patient.
The team of flight attendants led by Chief Flight Attendant Alena Shishkina provided first aid to the patient with the help of the onboard medical kits and equipment, in collaboration with the doctor. At the airport, the patient was handed over to the ambulance team in a stable condition.
The flight is expected to continue to Jeddah with an approximate delay of 1 hour.
