JSC "People's Bank" Kokand Universal Banking Services Center officials and others, by conspiring in advance and as a group, using computer equipment, embezzled budget funds through pillage. The Prosecutor General's Office press service reported this.
It is noted that the center's officials and others, by conspiring in advance, through the login and password assigned to two employees of the center in the bank software IABS, without the knowledge and participation of 68 citizens, opened bank cards in their names and cashed out 104 million UZS of material aid and pension funds that were dormant in the bank cards through ATMs, embezzling them.
It is announced that in relation to this case, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 3, Paragraph "g" of Article 167 (embezzlement or misappropriation through pillage) of the Criminal Code, and preliminary investigation actions are being taken.
