The avalanche risk has been announced in the mountainous regions of the republic due to the expected precipitation and changes in air temperature from March 20 to 25. "Uzhydromet" reported on this.
Accordingly, avalanches may occur in the following areas:
Qashqadaryo region: Dehqonobod, Kitob, Qamashi, Shahrisabz districts;
Surxondaryo region: Boysun, Qumqo‘rg‘on, Sariosiyo, Uzun districts;
Samarqand region: Nurobod, Qo‘shrabot, Samarqand, Urgut districts;
Jizzakh region: Bakhmal, Zomin districts;
Tashkent region: Bo‘stonliq, Ohangaron, and Parkent districts (Chotqol range);
Namangan region: The risk of avalanche is announced in Pop district.
Therefore, citizens living in mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers moving through mountainous regions are asked to take precautionary measures.
